Pacific Beach

SoCal's Beach Town

Pacific Beach, or PB, as it's known, is a relaxed neighborhood by the beach, popular with sunbathers and surfers. Trendy hotel bars and casual cafes line the boardwalk, while Mission Boulevard and the surrounding streets are dotted with boutiques, yoga studios and casual drinking spots that draw a young, bar-hopping crowd.

Pacific Beach is one of San Diego’s best beaches. The wide, flat beach is tucked between the Pacific Ocean and a 3.2-mile-long boardwalk lined with beachfront bars, restaurants, and shops. Inland, the grassy slope of Kate Sessions Park has sweeping views of the city and San Diego Bay. The oceanfront boardwalk runs along the coastline for nearly three miles from the south Mission Beach Jetty north to Law Street in Pacific Beach with full access to the waves of the Pacific Ocean.
